I just upgraded from Fitbit Charge 3 to Fitbit Sense.
While the device feels generally feature-packed, I am missing one of my favourite features from the more "basic" trackers. In Charge 3, I could track how many of my hourly 250 steps I had already taken and how many I still had to go. While the Sense has notifications 10m before the end of the hour if I haven't met my 250 steps target by then, I did not find a setting whereby I could track the hourly steps in real time like on Charge 3.
Is this something I'm missing or is this plain oversight by Fitbit?

Hi @amanmodi, welcome to the community.
I believe some clock faces offer the ability to track hourly steps, have you tried searching the App gallery? I'm not sure which ones offer the ability, but this quick search for "hourly steps" (here) might be a good place to start, hopefully you'll find something suitable.
Let us know how you get on ☺

Swipe up, you may have to add the tile.
You should be able to see how many steps are needed to get the 250 for this hour.

I can't use a different clock face because I need the SPO2 clock face to see my SPO2 data, and this face doesn't have hourly steps.
I think this needs to be available without using special clock faces, as it is on lower priced Fitbits.
Also, on the Sense neither the Core Stats nor the Advanced Stats widgets provide hourly steps info, and there is no way on the watch to add this, that I can find.
Is there really a way to do this on the Sense, or is this something that Fitbit need to fix and provide in a software update?

Update. I have the answer! For the Sense, that is.
Switch on Advanced Stats, and make sure Hourly Activity is enabled.
If you have NOT done enough steps in the current hour, under Hourly Stats, the Sense will show number of steps so far during three hour, and number remaining to be done.
If you HAVE done enough steps, it will only show you how many hours you have where you achieved the target. But it will not show any info about steps you've done in the current hour, in this case.

Thanks. Now, how to do we switch on Advanced Stats? Is it in the watch? The phone app?

And I found it. It's set in the phone, by clicking Manage under the core stats automatically displayed.

It is possible to see Hourly Activity on Sense via scrolling. To setup: 1) from main screen, scroll to Core Stats 2) Scroll to the bottom of this until you see Manage 3) Click Manage 4) Scroll to Advanced Stats 5) At the top you will see Show Widget, enable this by moving the control to the right
Hourly Activity is a part of this widget. You can now view Hourly Activity via scrolling ... it will appear after Core Stats.
Hope this helps ... All the Best!

Thanks, yes, as I wrote above on 6th Dec.
I also mentioned there that:
"If you have NOT done enough steps in the current hour, under Hourly Stats, the Sense will show number of steps so far during the hour, and number remaining to be done.
If you HAVE done enough steps, it will only show you how many hours you have where you achieved the target. But it will not show any info about steps you've done in the current hour, in this case."

I've not been able to find the answer to this feature on my new Sense either and I'm wondering if you've successfully arrived at a good solution.
