Unable to setup Fitbit Sense

Brought a new sense today and it's not giving me a 4 digit number to sync phone and watch. I've tried everything. Any suggestions? The screen the sense shows is like a calculator with lines instead of a number

I’m not sure what’s happening here, @SunsetRunner . You may want to contact support and ask them.

Thank you very much for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting! If the inconvenience persists, I would suggest restarting your Sense by following the steps here: How do I restart my Fitbit device? And then try to perform the setup process one more time. If this is still not possible, please check Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope you're able to use your new tracker soon Kimmy! In *case* the issue remains after @WilsonFitbit suggestion, it's possible to contact the support team of Fitbit as @SunsetRunner recommended.

 

Since mentioning you've recently purchased the tracker, it's also possible to exchange at the store of purchase with receipt. Possible calling the store first where it's purchased, so they can set another aside if they do that.

Hello. Thank you. This is what I ended up doing. Turns out someone had
returned it without returning it to factory settings. So it had a pin
lock on it. Which is why I couldn't set it up.

Then I would return to the store. But if you want to keep it, we can walk you through the factory reset.
