VO2 max miscalculated due to erroneous gos run entry

is there a way to force a recalculation of VO2 max? I jogged in circles around my house with my three year old about a month ago or so, and while I logged the light jog from my wrist, I neglected to turn off gps tracking. Because I was running indoors, and in relatively small circles rather than over a straight line distance, the GPS errors drew a crazy scribbled picture of my run and had me running here, there, everywhere. The trouble is is, we ran for a good long while and so the run automatically went into my VO2 max calculation. My VO2 max number had always been fairly decent, but after that run it dropped far lower than it’s ever been (36, I think), and despite a number of other *real* outdoor gps runs, precise treadmill runs linked with fitbit via LF Fitness, gps walks and hikes too, and yet I’m still stuck at 36 because of that one goofy run in circles around my house with my toddler. I tried changing the category of the exercise feom “run” to “treadmill” but that didn’t seem to help. Is there a way to delete the gps portion of the data for that run, or will just deleting that entire exercise entry force a recalibration/recalculation of my VO2 max? We’re hitting the warmer weather season here in Chicago and my wife and I both just renewed gymn memberships and are trying to run quite regularly, but continuing to see that obviously erroneous 36 stuck on my dashboard no matter my new actual runs that I  Keep adding is starting to become quite a demotivating bummer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@rlithgow   If you are an iPhone user, you can edit the exercise details and change the end time.  Tap on the ellipsis in the upper right.  The Android app version doesn't let you do this.  I'm not sure why the two apps are different.  I think deleting that exercise might help, but I can't guarantee it.  There are a few posts by other users saying that their cardio fitness score seems "stuck" despite weight loss, lower RHR, all things that are supposed to improve VO2max.
