Voice Assistant not available for Sense

So, this isn't just an issue with the voice assistant not working. It's completely gone.

There's no longer an option for it in the settings on the watch itself, in the app on my phone when I go to device settings, the "card" for voice assistant is no longer there. I don't get the option to reactivate, just nothing.

This had been working for a long time. Yesterday I updated my phone (pixel 4a) to the new android beta. I was expecting bugs, so I reverted back to a fresh I stall of the latest stable android version, and still nothing.

I have tried restarting the watch, restarting my phone (multiple times), unpairing and repairing the watch with my phone, and even performed a factory reset of the watch.

Does anyone have any idea?

Just noticed this as well. When attempting to trigger the assistant through my long press - it says Alexa is no longer available in my location and asks to choose a new action (weird since I was using Google Assistant).

It is completely gone from the Sense, from in the Fitbit app. No assistant tiles in app.

Edit: I did an uninstall of the Fitbit app and reinstall from store - I now see a Voice Assistant tile in my device screen.. No idea if that was just dumb luck or a real solution.

What an absolute pain. I cant imagine why reinstalling it would have helped, considering that this was a fresh install of my whole phone, including a fresh install of the fitbit app this morning... I even cleared app cache as well that didnt fix it up.

Either way, thanks!

I have had my watch for 3 months and have just decided to start using alexa.

I have no option in the phone app at all and it's up to date.

I have the widget on my watch, it says to finish set up in phone app! No voice assistant selection anywhere.

Frustrating!
