What you've mentioned is the new designed sleep chart in the latest release of the Fitbit app. At first sight it might look a bit confusing as it puts more information into one single chart. So I hope you'll find this helpful to clarify everything:

Hey guys, thx 4 the explanation. I did recently update the Fitbit app.
The dashed lines were throwing me off.

You're welcome, @Bsongbyrd.
Those dashed lines represent the individual time frames for each sleep stage you've been in during your overall sleep.
