@NeilFinny That's fair and I can fully understand, just keep whipping them is all I can say...

@sarasmile83 If you can't wait then this is indeed my recommendation.

Since this is my first time ever owning a Fitbit and first time having any kind of interaction with them, I honestly thought that Fitbit would be a company that has great B to C relationships and good customer support.  Oooohhh, how wrong I was.

Well, I have had 2 fitbit watches and never a issue with them

I had a scales that produced a error after about a year. Went to customers services and they replaced it with a scales 2 with no bother.

This is the first time they've annoyed me, though on the other hand, I have no one to blame but myself for pre-ordering, shouldn't have bothered.

@NeilFinny  I just called them about the dud tracking. They admitted it hadn’t been dispatched yesterday at all but had been today and I should wait longer for the tracking to update. Then 7 days for delivery. I had to get off the phone before I lost my rag completely 🙈

I have never had a problem with fitbit products. In fact I bought the Sense to replace my 4 year old Blaze that finally gave up on me last month. I've only dealt with their customer service a few times before this whole ordeal and I've never been impressed with them. I've also never pre-ordered anything from them. I'll just have to take this as lessons learned. My hubby wants me to wait until the end of the day to see if they actually fail on their promise of a 9/25 ship date before I decide anything else. But the fact that they haven't even charged my account yet even though I have this tracking number doesn't leave me very hopeful that they are fulfilling my order any time soon.

I can quite happily live without it for 7 days, that is no worries at all. I just don't like the feeling I've being placed over a barrel and .....

They should look at compensating, a free/money off a band or a extra 6 moths of premium

Crazy reply

We understand how you feel on this. We've also checked their tracking site and it is giving an error at the moment. It might be a server issue at their end. We suggest trying to check again later or calling them directly about this. Nonetheless, the parcel is on its way. Expected delivery is 4-5 business days (excludes weekends).

I placed my order Monday, it shipped Wednesday and already arrived today (selected standard 5-7 day shipping). It shipped Fedex from IN and I live in MN so fairly close. Fedex did entire delivery even though it said Smart Post which typically goes to Post Office to deliver. Much quicker then I was anticipiating.

@bobby2478  That’s great that you got it so quickly! I preordered mine on 26/8 and no sign of it yet so clearly they are not fulfilling orders according to who ordered first. Very poor service, it’s totally ruined what should have been an enjoyable day after a month of waiting.

@NexusOne are you USA? If so then that's definitely garbage and keep complaining to Fitbit about it. Which color did you order by chance? I realize there are different shipping timelines for international vs US.

When you go to the Fitbit store page it says both colors of watch are "in stock" and standard shipping is in 5-7 days. So why can't some of us get what we ordered weeks ago if it's not a stock issue? I really honestly would not be as upset about the wait if they were just upfront about why our orders are not being sent. Sure I would be disappointed in not getting my order sooner, but it's the vagueness and not knowing what to expect at all that really bugs me. If I'm not getting my order until mid-October I would like someone to just tell me and be able to cancel my order and buy elsewhere since I am not getting what I was told to expect in the first place. They're so afraid of telling people the truth and it's going to cause them to have way more upset customers than if they would just be honest in the first place. Also right before I started typing this, I got a marketing email from Fitbit telling me that the new watches are here and available for purchase 🙄

Totally agree. It would have being helpful if a mod could come and tell us what the situation is but they seem to be avoiding this thread,

ive tried support but just get fobbed off. 2 days later and the tracking link still just errors.

I was a loyal customer but this farce is stretching it.

Agreed. They are really getting me to question whether or not to continue to buy from them, but as of right now they still haven't quite lost me. I am totally willing to go to my local store today and pick one up or have it shipped if I had any idea what was going on with my order. I don't actually have any idea if they still plan on sending me one or not. Plus I'm a bit ticked off about having 6 months free premium trial wasting away while I wait for my order.

I pre-ordered by Sense on August 30th.  I haven't been charged for it yet.  I just finished a live chat with support.  My Fitbit Sense is scheduled to ship in the middle of October, even though the receipt states "ships by 9/25/2020."  I have been using Fitbits for 12 years.  This will be my last order thru them.  I will wait until items show up in the store.

Just got notified from FedEx that my package is finally moving through the system! Estimated delivery date is Oct 5th which is kind of annoying but I'm just so relieved that there's finally action.

@bobby2478 @No I’m in the UK. The shipping email said 4 working days. If I’d know this when I preordered I’d never have bothered.its so misleading! I expected delivery by 25/9, not shipping.

@NeilFinny @Same. My tracking still doesn’t work either, they are blatant liars! And of course we have to wait until Monday now to stay complaining again. I could order this on Aprime now and get it tomorrow 😡

Strange everyone has broken tracking links

Best Answer

@NeilFinny @I think they sent these dispatch emails just to cover themselves for the 25/9 promise. But for many of us the goods haven’t actually been sent. They are buying time. Maybe issues with stock or staffing levels in the warehouse? Either way they are taking the money and not delivering the goods

I’m looking at cancelling. If they gave a date fine, but they can’t

The strange thing is, tracking numbers are generated by the delivery companies and NOT Fitbit. So why are they defunct unless Fitbit are making up random numbers
