Wristband not latching on Sense

The hard piece that's inserted in one end of Sense watchband got stuck in the watch. I was able to easily pull it out of the watch with bull nose pliers. They work well because I could clamp down on the whole width of the piece and pull. I hope this will help the so many others who had this happen. Why is the band made a flimsy part like this? Now, how do I secure it back into the watch band so it stays in?  If glue, what kind?

Thanks for the steps taken with your Sense's wristband, I'm sure this will help other users. Moving on, can you confirm if you see any damage on the band or does it look normal? I recommend you to check this help article on how to wear your band, if you haven't done so.

There is no damage to the band except for the end piece that is supposed to be in the band to go into the watch. That piece was stuck in the watch, and  I removed but need to know how I should fix it inside the band. With glue?
