@puetter It's great to see you in the Community!

Let me help you with your Sense not showing your iPhone text messages. I suggest you clear the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.

yep - same issue - I receive a message from every other service (WhatsApp and Messenger), except Messages (sms). For sms I receive a notification from Notification Centre telling me 'I'm all caught up', and I have to go to my phone (Android/Samsung) to read the text.

I am having the same issue and have tried all the options above, several times. My iPhone has iOS14.0.1. The phone call notifications are working fine, just no text messages.

Are these instructions valid for Android (Samsung) phones as well? I receive calls but do not get texts.

I am ready to send mine back. Text messages was the main reason I upgraded.

Same! For $330, I should be able to get texts on the watch. Seamlessly.

No problems.  Text messages come through nicely from my iPhone.  And phone call notifications.

Agrees. My Alta was better than this when it comes to at least receiving the text

I tried everything like forgetting device, reinstalling the world, factory resets - nothing helped. The exactly thing that worked was to go on my iPhone to Settings > Notifications > Messages > ALERTS > Notification Center - this checkbox must be enabled. Boom! It works now.
