Can a pill like Melatonin help to sleep?

Hi everyone! 😊

When it comes to sleep, like most things in life, there is no magic bullet or medicine. Sleep aids are actually not meant for long-term use. For more information, please check this blog.

Yes on Magnesium.  In 2017 ABC10 news found that 80-90% of people are Magnesium deficient  in this mineral.  Here’s a link:

after seeing this I started buying Magnesium to supplement my diet.  My sisters doctor put her on Magnesium after a full blood routine was given, she was very deficient in magnesium.

Melatonin isn't a sedating rest aid. It's a sleep timing medicine & works by informing your mind the time to go to rest and also the dose is just 0.2 mcgs to 1mg any kind of greater dosage is thrown away by your body for this reason individuals feeling dozy irritable in there waking hours. If you take melatonin at the wrong time it will certainly mess up your sleep pattern. Be careful of this so call sleep medication since it isn't to be utilized as a sedative.

Melatonin is a sleep hormone involved in the regulation of sleep and wake cycles in the human body. Its production in the pineal gland increases with the onset of darkness, which promotes healthy sleep and helps orient our circadian rhythm to rest. There are 2 types of melatonin, natural and synthetic, Most medical experts advise against drinking synthetic sleep hormone in high doses. It can harm you. If I go deeper into the topic, I can say that sleep disturbance is a very unpleasant thing and many factors can contribute to it. First, I would advise you to go to the clinic to check your body, I use the services of https://easystd.com/pelvic-inflammatory-disease-pid-testing Good specialists do their job well and will be able to help find real cause of your insomnia

Melatonin without taking any drink or supplement can be improved by sitting in total darkness. It isn't even good for those that have N24(free running sleep disorder),DSPD,ASPD circadian sleep disorders.Disturbed sleep causes physical ones treat them first & any mental, mind troubles also need addressing as melatonin won't treat or help these causes. Daylight at your waking time outdoors for 10 mins to 30 mins to help day and prepare for the night time in making natural melatonin and darken all rooms when darkness appears, this will help your body to make melatonin.Magnesium is good for sleep plus it relaxes you (this is only if you lack the mineral) As you age the amount of natural melatonin decreases down to nearly nil yet most over 60 to 70s+ have good sleep. There's much more to sleep than melatonin, many other hormones and brain/brain changes for us to sleep.Adenosine being one that builds up the waking day thus by your bedtime it peaks telling it's time for sleep.  I haven't got insomnia but I have got N24 circadian sleep disorder.Melatonin didn't help at all.

It doesn't work for circadian sleep disorders or jet lag. At under 1mg it made me cold (core body temperature),nauseous, didn't change my sleep times. Not for insomnia it doesn't work. When it comes to sleep problems you're nearly the only one that can help. The right doctors can help you identify what might the problem/s and set up a CBTi programme for you, medications, talking therapy etc.

I have suffered from insomnia  for over 10 years now.  I went to my local doctor and was given Ambien 10mg done the trick for 5 years. After I done blood work to make sure there was no damage the doctor told me you like tired which I was. Stress was up he suggested  taking 1 Valium before bed 30 min before. Then at bedtime take Ambien.  Works prefer speaking for myself it's works and I go blood work every 90 days for liver and kidney function .  No screen time. No food.  Only warter
