Agree re interrupted sleep..."Other sleep"? Interrupted app that provides a broken, uncoordinated mishmash. Fitbit interrupted.

I have been a loyal Fitbit user for years. This new sleep experience in Fitbit premium is a complete disaster. Unless you go back to the former sleep graphs, within the next 3 weeks I intend to

(1) cancel my Premium subscription and

(2) find a different fitness tracker NOT associated with Fitbit or Google.

I agree! This company clearly doesn’t care about its customers anymore. As soon as my Fitbit fails, I will probably try the G-r-m-n (they delete your post if you suggest other brands). It has really good reviews and is halfway between the cost of Apple and Fitbit

Luckily, I have not yet received the idiotic "sleep experience" update that showed up on my wife's app this morning. I have yet to transfer my Fitbit account to Google, and I've disabled Fitbit's autoupdate. But. if the app still somehow figures out how to deliver the new sleep tracking interface, I'll close my account and replace the watch. BTW, providing zero human communication and terrible  customer support have been standard procedure for years at Google.

Thank you everyone who agreed with my dissatisfaction of this new sleep experience!  I've had a fitbit for 6 years and if this doesn't change back, my next one will be an apple type watch.  I hope someone sees these comments and realizes what a mistake this was!

I HATE it. There was nothing wrong with the old view. This new view is a lot harder to read. Very disappointed.

I know people often resist change, but the new sleep experience is much harder to read and requires more steps to get to the information we want. At the very least, I hope the previous version will be made available!

My husband has a garmin watch and this is how they display there sleep each night. I don't like it, that is why I purchased a fitbit sense 2. Now I am stuck, go back to the old way.

I already miss the restoration graph. Simpler doesn't translate to sufficient at all. Please bring back the graphs. I want more info, not less, and that graph was important to me.

Well said. An absolutely unnecessary 'upgrade' and it's a worse experience. The design is awful and hurts my eyes. What Product Manager would think this is an improvement over the previous design. What UX designer thought this amateurish design was passable. And what kind of VP would sign off on all this. Google makes so much money on ads that they can afford to just throw terrible work out into the world. Fitbit at least had an identity and design ethic. I rue the day the company was purchased by Google. And I am a general fan of Google. But this change is honestly laughable.

and sometimes design just sucks, dude. if you have to convince yourself to like it. it's not good design.

One slight change that would make this new interface do-able: whenever scrolling over the individual blocks within the sleep timeline, you can no longer see the amount of time that block amounts to (55 minutes for example).  You can now only see “awake 12:00AM - 12:55AM”  instead of “awake 12:00AM - 12:55AM 55 minutes”. This would make our lives easier when assessing our own sleep performance.

The recent changes to the Fitbit app appear to prioritize the preferences of those implementing the updates rather than the needs of existing users. This so-called 'upgrade' is completely unnecessary and has made the user experience worse. The new design is not only unappealing but also strains the eyes with its poor layout and lack of essential features like color contrast and the oxygen fluctuation graph.

It's baffling to think that any Product Manager would consider this a genuine improvement over the previous design. The amateurish aesthetics raise serious questions about the competence of the UX designer responsible. Furthermore, one must wonder what kind of VP would approve such a disappointing direction.

Considering Google's considerable revenue from ads, it's disheartening to see them prioritize subpar work. Fitbit used to possess a unique identity and strong design ethos, but since being acquired by Google, it feels like those qualities have been diluted. I genuinely regret the day Fitbit was purchased by Google, despite being a general fan of the company.

This feels like a step backward, pushing users towards Fitbit Premium with its convoluted navigation and cluttered sleep information. Frankly, these "improvements" have left me so disillusioned that I'm tempted to dispose of my Charge 5. We urgently need the option to revert to the previous interface—I'm deeply disappointed by this downgrade.

Additionally, I urge Fitbit to consider implementing a feature that allows users to return their devices for a refund, especially given the continual decline in app quality.

I don’t like the lack of colour and can’t work out the detail which I used to find really accessible. There is no real improvement. Please go back to the old charts. I am considering buying an Apple Watch instead otherwise. Certainly will not renew premium unless the old charts are available,

Absolutely appalling upgrade....and just been told I cannot agree to any more comments as I've reached my limit for the hour 😳😠.... Ive loved my fitbit and its been instrumental in making me move more....being a poor sleeper the sleep info was my main reason for paying premium....if this "upgrade" is staying then I'm sadly looking elsewhere.... just so so disappointed right now... please put it back... 😏

Couldn’t agree more with this post. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it was the rule when I was a software engineer/developer.

Well, it looks like with that “upgrade” - better to be called “downgrade” - I as a regular non-premium member won’t see my sleep score and sleep stages anymore. What a bummer! Fitbit just moved them behind their paywall. That’s a serious degrading of my recently purchased Versa 4. Not only that Fitbit is redesigning the sleep experience worse for the most of us - they are dissing their long time non-premium users by taking away the core functionalities of their watch owners! Hey, I payed for your product and feed your stats with my sleep-data - Isn’t that enough to let me see my own sleep stages without paying extra? I’m so disappointed about this company and seriously think to move to a less greedy alternative. With this I won’t recommend Fitbit to someone else anymore.

Each phase previously expandable as had page to itself. Cramming onto one page is backwards step.

The previous design and colour scheme was much easier to follow. I'd love to switch back if possible.
