Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.

The only way I know SOMEbody from Fitbit must be monitoring these scathing reviews is bc a monitor sent me an email...not addressing the issue about which I was complaining, but....to inform me that one of my posts violated TOS and was "repetitive". NO mention of my complaint about the horrible "upgraded" Sleep App. So to the complaints about the junk Sleep App upgrade, we can add HORRIBLE customer service.

This has to be one of the worst updates. I can't read the graph easily and I can't find my week comparison. This is the reason I pay for Premium. It's not worth it if I can't see what I'm expecting nor is it making things easier. I would like to be able to switch back.

Terrible terrible update indeed, many of your customers think so too. If you don’t give your customers the option to choose their own look or revert back to the old one I’m sure you will lose many customers, including my wife and I. Let’s see if you really do listen to your customers!!

I hate it! It's difficult to read the time since you are only shown the time you are awake.

100% agree! I hate this. Bring the old design back. Nothing is better about this. I can't even find the info I'm used to and the design is just ugly.
It got worse this morning. All it shows me is 8 hrs of sleep but no timeline or score and no explanation for why it is not there! What is going on???

Please restore the whole version of the sleep score. I was going to cancel Fitbit after the challenges were taken away but then discovered the use of the sleep score. The new format does not give a clear picture like the previous version. Please restore the old sleep score, considering canceling my membership.

I agree with what you posted. Too busy and hard to read. There was nothing wrong with the old version and look was more attractive. Why do they try to fix things that aren't broken?

How do we restore the old reversion of the sleep experience? The new version does not give as much information as the old and not easy to read.

Same here, looks like the detailed information we are missing moved behind the Premium paywall:

Thanks for sharing the link. I read it and still disagree. The way the sleep app info was displayed before was very useful to me. Most people are reviewing the info in their phone apps and having all of it compressed is not attractive or easy to read. Maybe they should test market before they make changes like this.

Horrible change. No color. Impossible to see benchmarks. Cannot expand. Simplification removed important data and I beg Fitbit to reconsider. Over 300 ppl have taken the time and effort to tell you how awful this is.
Fitbit user for years, unhappy.

Thanks for making the clear and easy presentation of data oblique, confusing, and busy. If you were trying to follow the principles of whatever the opposite of user-centered design is, congratulations: you’ve succeeded.

Why did you remove the Oxygen Variation report from the sleep data? That information is why I paid for premium membership. That is critical health tracking information that this new screen no longer provides. I don’t need to pay for premium any longer. This new sleep screen isn’t worth the extra cost.

There used to be a way to edit the start and end times for this type of night. I am not longer able to find where this can be done.

I don't like the new way to present the sleep information. I really liked the former option that allowed me to see separately the sleep phases. I find this version confusing and difficult to read.
I also think it was calmer to have a black background to read the information in the morning. This one feels like a work report. I wish I could have the option to choose the former version. Not really feeling this one.

Reading through the literature from Google regarding the changes to the functionality of the way we work with our data gathering,i am still saddened by the loss of a very good and mostly accurate way to monitor my sleep patterns.I am sure the new update is will work, but I find seriously unpleasant to use, Like many people that have written to you to voice how they feel, I'm amazed at the arrogance of trying to change the way we have used this device and stating "you will get used to it" . What will no doubt happen is a good number of your long term customers will find the changes unacceptable and will have to move on.But the sad thing is, that visual representation that we want to see of our sleep ,that we understand and have used in some cases for years has been lost.

Click on the dots in the upper right hand side of the sleep timeline page. You’ll find the edit option there.

I really do not like it. It was great before. The graph for sleep cycles is so unclear and there is no benchmark percentage for appropriate age and gender anymore. It is a horrible update. I wish it hadn't been updated it is not more user friendly and the comments on the forum agree with me. I fear Fitbit may lose customers with this awful update.
