Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.
What do you think? Let us know!

Please call the FitBit Customer Service number and lodge a complaint and ask for them to restore the previous sleep tracking appearance. The number can be Googled. That is the only way we are ever going to get it back. They are not reading and/or do not care what we post here.

Hi Rebecca
I think most of the comments separately submitted reflect my views on this new sleep function in particular "if it ain't broke why fix it" !
Initially whne it loaded the first time last week I thought you were having a system problem becasue it looled like some kind of beta test view!
I consider myself a reasonably tech savvy person having used lots of different devices, os and apps over 25 years for work and leisure and this is the first time I have felt so strongly about a product change.
It is much more difficuly to navigate, the display is virtually unreadable, and you can no longer see how your score is comprised. My mother died of dementia so am fully aware of the importance of good, quality sleep. Therefore the sleep function is the first thing I do every morning. As a Premium customer these gobbledook screens and difficulty to find key information means I will not renew my subscription next year unless there is a considerable improvement on this functionality.

Although I hate the colors (or lack thereof) and look of the new sleep tracker, I did recently discover that you can press down on the screen and it brings up a line/bar you can drag across the graph to see the actual time periods you spent in each stage of sleep. I didn't realize this until today. I just thought I would share in case some of you, like me, didn't realize this was a feature.
That said, I still think this new update is awful and will contact Fitbit like suggested... and will find another sleep tracker if they don't address our concerns (and actually do something about this).

My thoughts exactly, my neurologist checks my sleep info every visit..this new "thing" will be of no help to her at all in evaluating me. No premium renewal for me, either. Seems pointless

I was an early commenter on this thread on how horrendous the sleep changes are and after seeing all these negative reviews and realising Fitbit are not going to do a single thing about it I’m researching other smart watches and I’m leaving Fitbit. Good riddance Fitbit you suck!

The problem is that as far as I can tell Apple uses a similar graph and Garmin has worse issues so what tracker will have excellent sleep data reporting? If anyone finds a fitness and sleep tracker that has the info we just lost please let us know.

Nope don't like it..... Far too many lines, the other one was much easier to read with the clear colours.

My thoughts as well. I have already started to look into other devices, I feel such a let down by Fitbit...

The new sleep experience is broken - NO Benchmarks on benchmark view. This was a feature I looked at every morning, not happy it is missing.
Call to technical support had me delete and reinstall from Play store. This appeared to install an older version which worked, but was updated again this morning to the new broken version,
There appears to be an intention to have since "Typical range for people like you" is listed in a footnote, but it is not showing. Please fix it.

I do not like the new design at all.

Terrible terrible change to the sleep graphic, renders the purpose of tracking sleep useless other than start and end time. Too difficult to discern sleep patterns. The metric for a wake times and restlessness is useless when displayed this way

Dreadful, the sleep tracking graph is horrendous now and can't delete a nap that my watch logged but didn't happen, thus making my sleep data for the day inaccurate. Please revert it ASAP!

What's the point of having a moderated community forum if nothing is replied to??
Fitbit, you are losing all these people with your 'don't care' attitude. I will be jumping ship along with them if the old format is not returned.

I deleted a nap, but I don't remember how!
It was purely accidental, which is probably why I don't remember what I did

This is now completely useless!!!!! Nothing makes sense. What graphs there are now are useless, especially regarding the 02 levels. I have sleep apnea but cannot tolerate that equipment so I always followed when my readings were high and now I cannot tell. I have been looking for a Fitbit replacement which for me is difficult due to the cost of the premium watches. And they all have smaller screens that I have difficulty seeing. I would have already switched to Amazfit but again screen size is an issue. I don't know what to do. Thank you so very much for continuing to destroy Fitbit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I DID NOT TAKE AN HOUR AND A HALF NAP TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
