I really don’t like the look and info on the new look, you get less info and harder to view at a glance

Your recent update to the sleep feature has absolutely ruined the only feature I thought was worth paying for premium. If it doesn't get fixed, Samsung will have a new Galaxy watch user. I'll  throw this thing straight into the trash can. Incredibly disappointed

That was about the time my Versa4 quit tracking sleep at all. Everything was working perfectly until you fixed it. I thought it was broken, so I bought a new Pixel watch 2 and it won't track sleep either.

I used a Pebble for years until Fitbit bought it just to put it out of business. Maybe that's what happened to your TomTom.

Yeah, my husband and I hate it! Almost enough to look for a different device. One of the main things that I use it for is to track my sleep. I liked to be able to expand each stage. I liked the colorful look it had before and it had been so much easier to read. Now it is all jumbled together! Just really disappointed!

Case study 1: For those of us "over 50", we sometimes fall asleep on the couch. Fell asleep at 10:30PM, woke up at 1:00AM, back to sleep by 2:00AM until 7:00AM. Fitbit recorded 6.5 hrs sleep with a score of 75, which appears to be somewhat "accurate". But why is the pre-sleep nap called "Other sleep"?

Case study 2: For those of us "over 40", we sometimes wake up in the middle of the night. The sleep tracker then seems to stop counting sleep minutes even though we have returned to a restful sleep stage.

Case study 3: For those of us "over 30", we sometimes have work issues that wake us up in the early morning. Went to sleep at midnight, but woke up at 4:30AM. Sent email out at 6:00AM, then fell back asleep. Total sleep was 6 hrs, which is "accurate", but why is post-sleep nap called "Other sleep".

I think the previous presentation made better sense. A nap is still sleep?!?!?

I absolutely HATE this new layout!  Bring the old one back please.

Nobody seems to like this new version! Please bring back the original sleep version!!

I much prefer the old look. Like everyone else is saying, the color and functionality used to be better, having a dark mode option too. I'm not sure if I've seen others say how you can't see your past sleep profile animals now with premium like you used to be able to, I really wish we had that ability to see how past months sleep habits were like

I seriously doubt that there are any moderators reading any of this. and certainly none with the authority to do anything regarding our complaints here.

I messaged fitbit support chat today and they referred me to this thread where I could let them know that and they do look at it and might change it based on what people say. this article also suggests the same Fitbit users hate the recent Sleep page update, but a change could be coming (msn.com) so hopefully they do change it

Holy cow, all the old data is there ON WINDOWS. IF you go into https://www.fitbit.com/sleep, click to open the day you want to see. But can't show this to the Dr, or display it on my phone. Just ridiculous.

I've just cancelled my Fitbit premium membership, since it is no longer premium, to my mind, and the sleep stats that I most valued now just a mess.

Yip I’m now getting loads of “other sleep” stints in the evening while watching tv, I never got these before.  Also if I wake up go to the loo and fall back asleep immediately it’s not taking it as one session of sleep it’s now splitting into the other sleep, before you could see a short wake then back to sleep in the main session

I judt canceled mine as well.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Agreed. There is no one, just a line in some random bit of programming.

On to an Apple Watch.

I do not like this new version. It's too busy; much harder to read individual sleep modes since it doesn't work sideways; and I can't see days'/weeks' worth of info at a glance.

I do not like the the new sleep tracker… If you wake up for more than 15 minutes, it's what's your sleep into two different sleeps and I can't figure out how to edit it… If there is a way to edit the sleep, can somebody please let me know because I am very frustrated with this new system

Best Answer

Definitely not a fan of this. I didn't know it was such displeasure against this change. If it's not broken, don't fix it... The previous sleep experience was just fine. Just another group of people who think they know more than the actual consumers.... Sad

The app sucks now 😞  Cant see all days of sleep at a glance. Cant click on time in chart. Jumps all over the place. Why was this update made?
