New sleep tracker is awful.  I've been a loyal fitbit user, moving on to something else.

It's crap

Anyone who doesn’t have it yet is lucky!  This new IOS app is takes a lot of getting used to.  Even though it says there are benchmarks, I don’t see them. It does take a while to figure out the other changes. Some sort of explanation of how to read the new charts would have been helpful.

Thanks for your post! I just opened Fitbit.com on my laptop and you are
correct, all of the old sleep charts can be found online. It takes some
navigation and jumping around to get to the much preferred older style
Sleep Chart. I couldn't find a Sleep Score so I'll have to look some more
but it seems like a waste of time compared to having it on my Iphone.

If the information is still all available in the online website why does
Fitbit continue to say they can't provide it on our phone? I'm not a
programmer but if the information is there???

The first thing I always did was go straight to the sleep app on my phone when I woke up… I do not have time in the morning before work to go boot up my computer, etc., etc. just really disappointed!

Dots and dashes, the Google display is for AI to read not humans. Sleep animals are for children. The developers downgrade parameters are not the same as user parameters. The downgrade is awful. I just returned my new Fitbit as the previous better version of the sleep tracker was my primary objective and steps/activity secondary. We all paid for our devices with the included software design, I see a HUGE issue for refunds.

I did as well, to see how I rested, and how my heart rate was, in comparison to my sleep.  That and a graph of my breathing overnight were great.  First thing I looked at when I awoke.

Unfortunately no longer.  Just dots and dashes ...  ---  ...

It's awful. Sleep is the main thing I use my tracker for. Update makes it so much harder to read clearly. And importantly, so much harder to catch and delete the phantom naps that are entered when I'm just sitting quietly.

Not a fan, the new interface is not user friendly for reviewing my sleep patterns. I’ve tried reading and reviewing it and stopped. The previous version was easier to follow and interpret, its results helped me decide I needed to get tested for sleep apnea, now I don’t even bother reviewing it anymore. Please bring back the previous version for free.

So far hate this new look! As someone who really needs to track sleep... this is messy and busy. Where is the percentages for each stage? And whatever changes were done must have totally messed with the ability to properly track my sleep. It shows I had a whole 3 hours and some change of sleep last night. It seems to have stopped tracking it when I arose in the night around 2:20 am. Then it tracked sleep again from around 5 am sometime to when I woke up at 7ish. So 3 hours of sleep data wasn't tracked at all... and I was definitely sleeping through that time. Not at all happy with this change.

It sucks!  Bring back the previous iteration as soon as possible. It used to be clear and easy to use. This has too much in too small a place. A simple bar graph was sufficient, and if you wanted more information, turn to the landscape mode. Color of the new one isn’t an improvement.

Mine doesn't even have any color on it! Strange...Don't like this new sleep tracker.

That happens to me sometimes as well. You can edit how long you were asleep if you tap the 3 dots ... at the top right of the sleep page where it has the sleep timeline below. You can tap edit sleep and then change wake up/sleep times. you can sometimes delete one of the options if there are 2, or you can change the end time to right before the start time for the 2nd sleep tracking

Absolutely agree with the colors being awful. Before they were red for awake and I could easily see how many times I'd wake up. This whole new look is trash. I'm about to find a new watch and app to track my sleep.

Actually, you sometimes can't do this now. I have run into a few times where I wanted to correct the time....or combine them (because Google has separated them now, a lot of the time), and when i input the correct times, it will tell me i cannot post a Future Date. Whhaaattt?? It clearly says TODAY'S date, but it still won't accept that.

It's awful 😖

It's awful, moving to something else.

I really don't like the new sleep tracker. The old one was much clearer. I need to update my fitness tracker and will look at other brands due to poor sleep apo layouts.  I am really disappointed.

It would be nice if we could choose or vote on  which interfaces that we actually use. This change was a thumbs down for me.  Is Fitbit ooking to change for improvement, or just for the sake of changing?

So they're quick enough to tell people off and/or remove posts that they don't like but they still don't respond to our displeasure of the new update?! I think you're right Last Jedi, they literally don't care about our opinions! I am definitely going to be looking at other smart watches!
