Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.

Read the article. Not impressed. Maybe Google should have surveyed Fitbit users to see what changes, if any, they wanted to see. But to just up and change something that people relied on, that makes it impossible to to look at the graph at a quick glance and see all important info really sucks!! To be able to see my daily and weekly averages, specific times, basically everything is 10x harder to figure out. What an incredibly stupid change and angry we have no options to go back.

I like the older version of the sleep. This new version is so busy and the chart isn't easy to read. The older version was nice with the bars. It was clear and if you took a nap it showed how much of a nap and how it was included.
Please give me the older version.

USA/Sense/iSO: I haaaaate it. It’s not visually appealing or intuitive. Doesn’t provide as much information as before. Two thumbs down, zero stars. Try again.

The worst part of the sleep changes is that historical data has now changed. For 8 years I’ve kept a close eye on my previous data to monitor how my sleep patterns are improving. Since the ‘upgrade’ the historical sleep data has gone down!! Showing I had less sleep than what has been there for years. It appears the app is doing on the spot calculations each time I check rather than having static records of past sleep. Historical data is no longer useful as it’s inaccurate. I so wish I’d screen shot the correct data so I could now refer to it. BIG fail Fitbit.

I can't answer your question but I also have had no sleep data available for two nights this week! I wonder if this is a common problem?

Don't like it. Bring back previous version.

I switched too. I am still learning how to use the features of the new device. I did not want to switch but the powers that be definitely don't seem to care about their customers.

Well, I for one don't want Google to treat me like a mental retard and 'simplify' things to such a point where I can barely see any of the actual data I want to track for myself.
Like everything, there's a balance to be struck between complexity and simplification. Here though Google has swung way too far over to 'humans are dumb, we (and our AI) know better'.
What if I actually *want* to see some detail of all my previous nights sleep in a scroll list, so I can at a glance see my sleep patterns over time, instead of in a vague, data less but pretty (useless) bar graph?
I basically find very little of value in the new app design after this, so it's made my decision of if I should continue my membership that much easier.

Benchmark is tab on the bottom, next to Sleep stages.

So, we were sold a product with a feature that people bought it for,
Now it's been taken away????

It's terrible and now they've even taken away the type of sleep (light, Rem, deep) I'm here to find out what devices others are switching to. So far I'm liking the Samsung.

Not only is the new interface awful but the sleep data is now totally inaccurate… before the change my sleep data matched up to what I know was true.., since the change it says I am experiencing REM sleep (dreaming) when I know I am awake, up, working on a computer and drinking coffee!
Clearly FitBit don’t care about these complaints as evidenced by their total silence but it’s still a stark response to their CUSTOMERS….😳

Sorry to disagree but it is NOT cool! It is not an improvement. Especially on the top ‘awake’ line, running your finger across the line covers the time! And it doesn’t highlight it like it used to. In the old display we could run our finger across the bottom line and see everything. And highlight the stages we were most interested in examining.
