I've been using my Fitbit to track my sleep for a few months now, and while I find the data interesting, my sleep scores haven't been great. I usually get around 6-7 hours of sleep, but my deep sleep percentage seems low, and I often wake up feeling groggy. I’ve read that factors like sleep environment, pre-bedtime routines, and even daily activity can impact sleep quality. I'm curious if anyone in the community has found effective strategies to boost their sleep scores or improve overall sleep quality using their Fitbit. What adjustments have you made that have helped? Any specific routines or practices you swear by? Let’s share our experiences and tips!

Keep your air cold. Even if you are bundled up in a warm blanket, the cold air will help.
No screentime for at least an hour before bed (preferably longer).
Last meal 3-4 hours before bedtime.
Last exercise 2 or more hours before bed (a short, slow walk might be okay closer to bedtime, depends on how your body reacts).
Some people swear by a warm shower before bed, since it warms your body so the temp drop is more pronounced, but if you're like me, that will just wake you up more. Worth trying, though!
OH!!! Also.....work on finding YOUR ideal sleep time! Fitbit says 7-9 hours, but I found out that my ideal sleep time is closer to 5 hours...any longer, and I am sleepy all day.
Most importantly, remember that what Fitbit says is less important than how you FEEL. I can have a great score and be super tired, or a "less than ideal" score and feel great.

@anistonpe55 welcome to the Fitbit Community. I've moved your post to the Sleep Well board, because that is a better fit for this discussion.
Thank you, @amymurray122 for your input. I completely agree with you.
