Welcome to the Community @jasonB87! Besides submitting the kayaking activity on the Surge, you can create the activity and enter the calories you burn during this time. Good luck with your activity!
Let me know how it goes!

Hi, I just figured out how to log kayaking, which I assume will record the GPS data, but I haven't tried it yet. I don't seem able to add it to the shortcuts. I followed the instructions here:

Good luck 🙂

Hello there @jmac125! Thanks for stepping into the Forums.
That would definitely be an option. Having said that, manually logged activities do not have any sort of GPS data on them. It would still be a good way to get the activity recorded on your Fitbit Dashboard and counting towards your totals.
Hope to see you around the Community.
