The fitbit surge has started to show the signal for exhausted battery, about half a day after a full charge. I have switched this watch off and on and it does not seem to do much difference. I cant be sure now when I need to charge the watch as the indicator is mucked up. Please help. Regards.

Hey hey hey @Lalib! Let me give yo a warm welcome to the Community! Ok so, let me see if I understood. So now the battery signal doesn't disappear from the screen of your Surge, right? If so, can you please tell me, when you charge your tracker, can you see if it is charging? Have you tried to restart your Surge by following the instructions on @MeylinP?
In addition, I would like you to try the following, in case that your Surge is not charging:
- Dirty charging contacts. Try cleaning them using the instructions in How do I clean my tracker?
- Faulty charging sources (USB port or plug) Try a different USB port or UL-certified wall charger. Do not use a USB hub.
- Tracker isn't connected to the charger Try reconnecting your tracker to the charging cable. If your tracker has a display, you'll see a battery icon while it's charging. Fitbit Flex lights up while charging. I
- Firmware is outdated. Try updating your tracker using the instructions in How do I update my tracker?
- A defective tracker. Try restarting it using the instructions in How do I restart my tracker?
Keep me posted with the outcome!

Thank you for replying to my queries. Well well, the problem seem to have resolved itself on its own, for now over 40 hours without any sign of empty battery signal, for no apparent reason. Keeping fingers crossed for this not to worsen from this over time.
