Bike tracker not responding

I finally managed to find a GPS signal (it took about ten minutes) and the display read 000 all over the screen, I thought what next? do i press something to get it started or just ride and it will begin tracking my ride. The only touch screen button was in bottom right hand corner of screen but this only scrolled between calories, and a few other things. I thought that the tracker would automatically kick in as soon as i started riding but when i had got to the end of my ride the screen was still set at all zero's. I am glad i took my smartphone with runkeeper app as i managed to track my ride. Can anybody help me out?, am I doing something wrong?

Hello @Timax56, good to see you in our community and I guess you re not doing anything different. The other day I just did a bike activity and my counter start giving numbers as soon the GPS fixed my location. Just keep in mind you have to tap the play button in the lower corner of the Surge or the designated button.

 

Why don't you try with a restart in case the issue still persist? I bet you know the steps but in case you need it, please take a look to this post where I shared the steps for a restart.
