FitBit - Please do something about the display brightness on the Surge. I've only had mine a few days and I am close to sending it back. Looking at the device should not cause eye strain.

Hope you’re enjoying the forums @jcaimi1? Welcome! Congrats on your new Surge. Sorry about eyes. Have you tried using the Backlight, on the Settings of your Surge to check if the "Backlight" is on. At the moment there is no option to change the brightness on the Fitbit Surge. Though, I think it'd be great to have this option. Why don't you take a moment to review this request, as @SteveH mentioned there are some requests about this on the Feature Suggestions board that you might like:
-Offer Surge Display in two modes
