FitBit app not stay connected when updating

My FitBit does not finish it's update before it shuts down. I have to try and sync 3-4 times before it'll will finish the update. It also will not sync with My Fitness Pal in recording my steps without attempting to restart FitBit at least 3 times.

Thanks for popping by the forums @Vetteman. Welcome to the Family! For issues with your Fitbit App, please to restart your phone and try one more time, also if you're having syncing issues after that try to restart your Surge and follow the suggestions placed here by @HelenaFitbit. I think that it will help to connect properly with MyFitnessPal, but in case that it doesn't try the steps in this master post from @RobertoMEWoman Very Happy
