Fitbit Surge reset data midmorning

My Fitbit Surge spontaneously reset itself mid morning after having been working fine for more than a year. The stats from my morning hike were lost.

I have synced it with my phone which showed up the morning hike, but the Fitbit hasn't adjusted itself. The time is more than an hour later than it should be.

I have turned it on and off again several times. I have deleted and reinstalled the app.

Any ideas? Will I need to rest to factory setting? Thanks for any help!

Cheers, Liva

@Liva Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I will recommend to try the troubleshoot shown on this post to fix the time. By fixing that it shouldn't reset at mid morning. Also, restart your Surge.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

Thanks SantiFitbit,

Whether it was the combination of things I had already tried or whether it was going to happen anyway, it actually resolved itself overnight. In the morning I found the time was correct and all the info was correct from then on. I haven't had a problem since (today being four days since the issue).

But if it does occur again I'll definitely try your suggested fix first!

@Liva It's great to hear that your Fitbit Surge got resolved by itself.
