After a full charge my battery indicator diminishes over 2 days too half but the app says my battery is still fully charged... which is right ? The surge or the app? The surge advertises 7 days off one charge..

Hey hey hey @AdeNeade welcome to the Fitbit Community! It is nice to have you here 😄 Well well, that is strange. Have you restarted your Fitbit Surge? If not I will suggest to give it a try. Also uninstalling and reinstalling your Fitbit app to be sure that it is working properly. Lastly check your Surge firmware update.

Why is my surge only lasting 2 and a half day after full charge ?

£170 for a device that doesn't do as advertised. .. 7 days on a full charge fitbit claims I'm not getting half that ... think it's time to dig out the recipient and get a refund !

Can I ask. .. just how do you tell if the surge is fully charged ? The app is unpredictable... it says fully charged even when the surge is 3/4 depleted... is there any notification on the actual surge that tells you that the battery is at 100% ?

I don't see any % but there is a battery indicator in the left corner on mine. Easy to see if it's full

While charging you can address the state of the battery through your dashboard which shows the completely charged capacity as "high"

How is it goin' @AdeNeade as instructed by @umar6969 you can see the state of the battery while charging and when you're wearing it just click on the left button and you'll see a battery indicator as explained by @laffe.

Hope this helps! Have a wonderful day 😄

Really ? How stupid must you think I am ..... not, I see the battery icon... so you're telling me it takes 10-15 minutes to charge my surge? Because from a fully depleted battery it takes 10-15 minutes for the battery icon to be full on the surge.. and the dashboard constantly says fully charged no matter what.... I have factory reset the surge.. un installed - re installed the app... still the same.... may I suggest adding a % to the charging for future customers...

I have had nothing but problems with mine possible faulty tracker...

So I will exchange for a new one tomorrow.

@AdeNeade If it takes 10-15 minutes to show a fully charged battery icon, your tracker is having some internal issues, and I would suggest to contact support for further assistance.
Just to be clear ,I never meant to insult you, I was answering to your initial question and excuse myself for the misunderstanding. Now with the information provided in your last post I can see that something is not working well in your tracker.

Keep me posted! Have a wonderful day 🙂
