Fitbit surge straps

My surge got diesel on it yesterday. While the actual surge is fine, I am unable to get the smell of diesel off the strap. Is there a way of removing the strap to soak it or can you get replacement straps. If not, what would be the best way of getting the smell out of it?

Thank you

The Surge is a single unit so there's no way to remove the band from the tracker without breaking various antennas and things. Sorry.

Well that's not entirely correct.  The antenna don't extend clear out into the band unsupported, they're part of the base that the band attaches to, so removing the band DOES NOT remove the antenna.

My band just started tearing...not too happy.

You're ignoring the Bluetooth antenna "glued to the inside of the band" then. That still registers it non user replaceable unless you're able to unglue it and attach it to the new band.
