Best AnswerThe Surge is a single unit so there's no way to remove the band from the tracker without breaking various antennas and things. Sorry.

Well that's not entirely correct. The antenna don't extend clear out into the band unsupported, they're part of the base that the band attaches to, so removing the band DOES NOT remove the antenna.

Best AnswerYou're ignoring the Bluetooth antenna "glued to the inside of the band" then. That still registers it non user replaceable unless you're able to unglue it and attach it to the new band.
