Hi,

 

I am hoping someone can help with this problem I am having with my Fitbit surge.

When I go out bike riding I use GPS to record the route, but when I am out riding with my club friends, I pause the watch when  we stop for coffee but if we stay longer  than 20 mins

then the GPS stops recording & I have to record a new route when we leave.

 

I hope that I can find an answer  to this problem as I like to record the ride as a whole.

@ianmark55 Sadly this is how your device works. Since it doesn't detect any activity for a long period of time it stops recording the activity and closes it. You will need to keep the tracker in GPS mode or record your way back on a new activity record.
