Suggestion for Fitbit R&D---- RE: Watches without detachable bands

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had to replace 3 of my Fitbits (Charge, Charge HR, and Surge) over the last couple of years due to the band breaking. All 3 were under warranty and replaced N/C. For cost effectiveness, you need to develop a way to replace the band only (Like Blaze  or Flex). I even offered to downgrade from my Surge to the Blaze (a $50.00 loss to me) just so we could eliminate future issues. Customer Service said the were unable to do that. Back when you had the Force recall, I was offered a credit to apply to any watch purchase. This is a good opportunity for Fitbit. With the exception of the Surge, all credits would be for an upgrade and additional revenue for Fitbit. Or start making all the watches with detachable bands. Either works for me.

Thank you for your consideration

@maweisberg Welcome to our Community! Currently Fitbit's policy states that the item will be replace for the same device and currently doesn't have an upgrade program. There are other members that are interested in this kind of program and suggested this on a Feature Request board. The more votes an idea has the more like it could be implemented.
