Heart Rate Monitor not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I noticed this morning during my run that my average heart rate was not being tracked per mile. Then I checked the run when I was done and it had not tracked my heart rate at all. I can tell that at some point between 11am yesterday morning and 4:30pm yesterday afternoon, the heart rate monitor stopped altogether. Any suggestions on how to get that fixed or is this happening for anyone else? Thanks.

I had that happen during a short workout this morning. Nothing so long as you experienced though. Just annoying because it was during the workout when I really wanted it to give me some feedback.

I ended up shutting down the Fitbit and restarting. That ended up fixing the issue.

@Sloeb Thank you for helping out here! You can also ty restarting your tracker if this happens again by doing the following:

1.- Press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on your Fitbit Surge for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim.
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- After your screen turns completely off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button to turn your Surge back on.

I'll be around!
