The Surge will pick up the date and time from your phone when you synch the tracker with the Fitbit app.

When you connect your Fitbit Surge for the first time, your Fitbit take the time of the device you're using to sync.  Every time that you sync your Surge the time will be updated, if not check the following tips to change it.

Thank you very much for your help, after following your guidance I eventually set the time on my Fit Bit surge. I am 70 year old and no so computer literate , but I was very happy when I set the time on my watch. You made an old man happy. Thanks and merry Xmas to you all.
