Inaccurate miles w/ gps

The miles recorded on my Surge was off when I ran.  It said 2.22 miles but have done same exact route many times (bike, old Garmin watch) and know it is really 2.36 miles, not 2.22 so why the discrepancy?

Hey there @DavidSJersey, hope you're doing great. Welcome to the Forums! In regards of your inquiry, even though you're running/biking in the same place using GPS in your devices, distance readings won't be exactly the same because both trackers use different algorithms to calculate it.
