Is there any way to activate an inactivity monitor? I small reminder to get up and walk ever hours or so would be great. My job in sedentary and an inactivity monitor would be a great feature.
Thanks!

Hi, @JSchuck! A lot of people would love this feature. It's coming on the newly announced Alta, but the older models do not have this feature. The closest you could probably come is setting some alarms for yourself. You could also vote for this feature in the Features Forum, it has some great support. Fitbit has been known to add nice updates to their older trackers in the past, including the auto-sleep function that just got added to the Fitbit Flex, so you never know!

That's right @MakMak, our specialists are constantly taking a look at the Feature Request board to check the ideas and provide a better experience with your trackers. And the alarms are really a good option! @JSchuck urrently the Fitbit Alta has this option, to know more about this, check this article.

Well, if Fitbit would rather I spend $130 for an Alta instead of $250 for the Surge, I suppose I could, but I don't think that is a good business model. I do hope they they update the Surge to have the inactivity monitor on the higher feature watch.Setting an alarm is good in theory, but a watch that knows when I fall asleep should know when I've stopped moving for an hour.
