Already raised this - search for and vote for... "Surge needs cardio fitness score + new features from Charge2/Blaze upgrade" and add any other comments...

I checked but the item is stale and not much update on it so far.

We need to put it on radar of Fitbit market researchers.

I have voted yours request. Please vote the one I created.

I highly doubt there will be any updates for the Surge. I'm expecting the Surge to be discontinued this fall when Fitbit starts selling their new smart watch. The Surge is a product Fitbit would like to sweep under the rug considering all the issues with the defective bands.

I know this has been mentioned before but I would like:

- WhatsApp notifications on iOS

- more watch faces

- move reminders

- guided breathing

Its so odd that the surge has been so seemingly forgotten, I've had it almost a year and have never received and update for it.

I don't know what they are thinking of Surge future.

The point here is Surge is still the costliest device of Fitbit.

And if Fitbit care event 10% of their customer, then they should provide update for Surge owners.

If you think these features are good and should be available to you for the money you paid, please vote on below link.

I'm a bit disappointed, love the surge GPS capabilities which is the only Fitbit who has it, but agree the issues with wristband are too many. Why don't they either modify it like the charge or blaze or add GPS capability to the others?

Unhappy users and it looks like the hardware can support the new features added to surge (In my order of importance- cardio fitness score,  enhanced sleep tracker, reminder to move, guided breathing), so why isn't it done? This is the most expensive but lacking features... if there is a technical reason why it can't be done due to hardware restrictions, at least let us know - to avoid us wasting time checking and so we can plan our next (presumably non-Fitbit) purchase.

@ChrisPazza. Hey ChrisPazza. It probably won't happen because the Surge has been discontinued, and replaced by the Ionic. I will use my (Surge) until it dies then decide whether or not to go Ionic or somewhere else. Best of luck with your decision!

It's a bank holiday here so missed the announcement. **ahem** it! As you say they won't upgrade it now & I can't justify cost of new Ionic...
