I am a rugby referee and was wondering what the best way of recording the match time activity would be using the Surge?

Would free run work the best or am I missing another feature entirely?

Cheers in advance

A warm welcome to the Community @kenders. The Surge doesn't have this activity, so I recommend manually logging this activity by doing the following from your computer:

1. Go to Your Dashboard to see your activity log. Start typing in the search box under 'Log Activities".
2. Enter any physical activity you find yourself doing often.
3. After adding the activity, there will be the option to customize the activity via duration, distance (if applicable) start time and calories.

Hi Alejandra,

I'm also a Rugby Referee and was wondering what the chances were of adding or modifying the Free Run feature on the Surge would be?

The main thing I need to keep track of during the game is the time, particularly countdown timer function.

Is there any way of starting a Free Run, then scrolling over to the countdown timer? Or is there a possibility of adding this ability during the next firmware update?

I have tried to use the Surge just as a countdown timer during a game but it doesn't track my run as well as the Free Run feature does.

Thanks in advance,

Sam

Welcome to the Forums @yourmatesam. It would be awesome to have a feature like this, one that allows to do two thing at the same time. I think and suggest sharing your idea on our Ideas Boardwhich our product development teams consult regularly to ensure we're delivering on what our customers need and want. Please take a moment to visit and give us your feedback.
