A warm welcome to the Forums @Sweetejart. If your sleep is not being recorded, I recommend restarting your Surge by following @MeylinP's instructions to avoid this to happen again. In the meantime, keep in mind that you can manually log your sleep by doing the following from your iOS Fitbit app:
1. Tap the "+" icon
2. Tap Log Sleep
3. Tap Add Sleep Log
4. Enter your information
5. Tap Save

Sorry about the log in error you're getting, try to the same on a computer if you have the option and if you get the same error, please contact Customer Support so they can determine what happened with your account.
Now, about your Fitbit Surge, the restart should do the trick! If for some reason it doesn't, ask our support team to check this for you too.
