Hi,
My Fitibit is just a year old, For past 4 weeks (now), am facing issue with the battery life - it's draining in less than 24 hours (earlier, it used to last for 5-6 days). I've switched off GPS and Bluetooth but that hasn't helped. I observed that the green light continuously glows even when I take it off my wrist and may be the reason for such fast drain-out. Have tried a few options but unable to make the lights go off when lying idle. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for reaching our the Forums and for trying those steps to help your Surge battery. Actually there is an option to "Shutdown" your Surge. Press the Home Button on your Surge > Swipe to "Settings" > Choose "Shutdown". It usually turns off all features.
Besides that I'd like to now how old is your Surge? You can follow some easy steps to help your Fitbit battery life:
Are you getting the full battery sign after charging your Surge for 3 hours? Have you noticed if your charger is loose or maybe not connecting properly? How are you changing your Surge?
I'll be around!

Hi there, I am having similar issues. My Surge is older than a year, - 2 - 3 my guess. I haven't used it in a few months and this week when I tried recharging and using it, it worked ok, but wouldn't hold a charge for more than 10-12 hours. I am trying your suggestions and will advise.

I have been shutting down my Surge at night to save battery - but a strange phenomenon is happening. It is on the next AM. I am confirming "shutdown" but still on the next day. Any thoughts?

Thanks for getting back @PAH707. That's a strange behavior from the Surge, where do you put it at night? Because if you leave it near to your bed or in place where you might accidentally move it, this can turn it back on. So, let's check that detail.
Keep me posted.

I leave it on my desk, outside my bedroom. Not getting touched. I checked to see if I had an alarm set, but I don't. Happened again this AM. It's possessed apparently. 😉

Wow @PAH707, it looks like it is!
Thanks for checking those details, my guess is that your Surge keeps working after you shut it down. But let's try a couple of steps to see if this works better in that way.
Then try again the Shut down option during the day to see how long it keeps turn off. I hope it works!
Keep me posted!
