Bought the Surge HR to monitor my heart rate and it worked great. I received information to remove Quicktime from my Windows 10 computer http://www.wired.com/2016/04/uninstall-quicktime-on-windows/ and quess what, FitBit will no longer sync with Desktop Dash board. Looks like I will have to make a decision, be open to hackers or monitor my heart rate only on Smart Phone unless FitBit resolves this problem.

I do not have Quicktime and mine works fine. Are you using Fitbit Connect or the Windows 10 app? I uninstalled Fitbit Connect and now use the app.

@TexasBear Quicktime should not in any way affect your Fitbit tracker's ability to sync - I don't have it installed on my Windows computer either. As @SunsetRunner mentioned, the Windows 10 app is the way to go.
