All of the sudden, my surge has an alligator like background (like broken glass in alligator like pattern). How do I go back to the normal clear background?  Thank you.

If your surge is under a year old contact fitbit support as it appears your screen has broken. Unfortunately if your over a year old they will maybe offer you a discount on a new product, in that case I would try a different brand. Read these forums as others have had their screen crack for no apparent reason and there are lots of other issues as well. Good luck!

Thank You.  I didnt even think that the screen may be broken.  I cannot swipe thru the screens anymore so I think you are right.  Unfortunately, my surge is 1 1/2 years old, so out of warranty.
