I bought a Surge about half an year ago. It used to work well.
But since last week, my surge's battery life suddenly drops to about 1 day.
I tried and found that, if I didnot sync it with my iphone (or maybe ipad) or after sync reset the surge, the batery life is as before.
I want to provide this information to your support team, maybe it is a software bug:
Because my old iphone was broken (only the glass broken, other functions work well, it still can sync with surge), I trid to sync my surge with my ipad and galaxy s5, I think after that, the battery life drops.
And without sync, or reset after sync, no problem.
The reason maybe:
1, sync with ipad cause this problem,
2, sync with ipad, and at the same time, the iphone's bluetooth is on cause this problem.
I think the galaxy s5 does not matter, I list it above, just to tell my process.
suggest reproduce step:
1, sync with iphone 6+, and left the iphone's bluetooth on,
2, sync with ipad air 2,
3, watch the battery life.
I will try only use ipad to sync, and update you details later.

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by @hqqiu! Thanks a lot of the details and the steps that you already tried, this might help other customer having the same issue that you were facing. In regards of your Fitbit battery, have you tried the tips in this post? I would also try to restart your Fitbit Surge, in case that it is a hardware issue, it might help!

Hi @hqqiu! Thanks for responding, I'm glad to know that you got a workaround! Now about your inquiry, I 'd like to mention that when your Surge syncs with a mobile device, they bond for call and text notifications, we've noticed that it might interfere when you try to connect with other devices.
So, in case that you want to sync with a different device, it's best to access to the Bluetooth option on the phone and forget the device from there, after this it should sync fine with your iPad. Please note that by doing so call and text notifications will be turn off. I personally, don't think it is necessary to sync with other device since you take the phone with you everywhere, but it'd be up to you!
I don't think that you have to restart your Surge for every synchronization. Why don't you try the suggestion of syncing only with one device at a time and in case that you're still having syncing issues let me know.
Have a good one!
