I've done a lot of tracking of calories and exercise in 1.6 years of owning the Surge. Just hit Japan award. Wear this Surge everyday but stopped at night due to battery life and a torn band. The band is even falling apart where the plastic is ripped, read on here they dont replace bands, really, so I superglued the band and its holding up. Its the little tracker that could but the user functionality is useless right now, I cant scroll through the screen menu items. I'll charge it over night and when I unplug it the menus swipe fine until an hour later then no swip for me, but its still tracking. I have lucked out for weeks on end when I go to the gym and can swipe over to my workout tracking until today, so bummer for me and my **ahem** retentive tracker, but it still records calories so yay.
Screen is frozen to swipping between menu items. works sometime, doesnt work the majority of time. cant even shut it down and restart. This all started when I loaded the newer time and date interface. $270 **ahem** from day one. Ive owned this **ahem** since it released. Im not returning it to purchase another one no way on earth will I buy this alpha release product or any product agian from this company (just an honest opinion) I bought my wife one shortly after they released this surge, hers stopped working so the gave her 20% off a new one (30 days past the warranty period of one year, lol). Point is this "tech" company's executives are driving there nice cars telling their freinds they are entrepreneurs and laughing to the bank.

@Session Welcome to our Community! It's sad to hear that your tracker stopped working after 1 and half years of using it. It would be great that Support could provide a replacement but they follow Fitbit's limited 1 year warranty so if it is outside this period they won't be able to replace it. Still they sometimes offer a discount that can be used to purchase any tracker in the store but it is up to you if you wish to contact them or use the discount if they issue one.
