After several attempts and with the online help was solved, it was not my phone problem, I suppose it was a connection bug Fitbit

Hi @DavidMartinez! Hope you will have an excellent time here. Welcome aboard!
Thanks for posting you inquiry here in the Forums! If you're still having this error, I'd suggest to make sure that your computer is running the latest software update and try to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit App or Fitbit Connect. In case that this doesn't help, please take a screen shot of the error message and reply with as many details as you can give.
Is there another way to connect your Fitbit tracker, for example a mobile device or another computer?
Hope you get on track soon!

I haven't synced for a couple weeks, and today my Surge won't sync. It says it's syncing with my iPhone, but when I go to the dashboard online, it doesn't show the updated stats. The FitBit connect no longer works on my laptop--I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I can't sync directly to my computer via the dongle or bluetooth. Oh, and the backlight no longer works either. Maybe time to switch platforms.

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @tedsherman!
Thanks for adding those details to the post, as you mentioned you were using your iPhone to try to sync. Would you mind trying these steps with your phone. Also confirm that the model of your phone is compatible and that your phone has all the requirements to sync.
Fitbit Connect is one of the oldest options to connect but it's very reliable. Please check that you're getting it from the correct source, here you find the link.
I'll be around, please keep me posted!

Thanks @DavidMartinez! That helps a lot since we had a couple of users asking the same thing. Thanks a million for making your last update the "Accepted Solution". Hopefully, we don't have more issues like that.
Have a good one!
