Hi,
I keep loosing my connection between my Fitbit Surge and my LG phone. It is very difficult, and in some occasion impossible, to get the connection back! When I search for Bluetooth devices with my phone I always get a Surge and a Surge Classic devices in the list. However, within the parameters menu of the tracker only the bluetooth classic is liste and can be paired (according to the tracker, but I just wasted another half hour trying to connect it!). The phone says it is paired(I get the pairing code on both the phone and the tracker) but the application will never update information from the tracker.
Moderator edit: Clarified subject.
Very disappointed with the device.

Halo @Serica thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate all those details. I'd like to clarify that your Surge bonds in two ways with your phone. Bluetooth connection will be done as soon as you first pair the Surge with the phone, this connection will be visible on your phone Bluetooth but not on the Surge itself. Remember that you always have to check the requirements for syncing with compatible devices, to make sure that your phone will be syncing with Fitbit tracker.
The other way that your phone syncs with the Surge is via Bluetooth Classic. This is required only for the feature Music Control. It's not necessary to use this feature to sync your Surge with your phone. So, if you're having syncing issues too often and you already checked the requirements for syncing, I would recommend trying these steps to reconnect your tracker with your phone.
This should do the trick! I'll be around!
