Hello,

I am just wondiering why fitbit decided to make the location on to sync my surge or any other device. I do not like to have the location on my phone in the on position for several reasons. I really am looking to know what my location has to do with syncing my device. If there is anything I am doning wrong please let me know.

Thank you

I have spent most of today trying to sync this wretched Surge ... it worked once when I turned off my iPad but not since.  I have reset the tracker, I have turned off bluetooth on my iPad, I have deleted the Fitbit App from my iPad .... still 'An unknown error has occurred!'     I bought this becasue it was said to be the best tracker for 2016 ... what the hell are the rest like?!  And Fitbit's idea of 'support is for us to ask each other?!

Hi @sakura56 it is nice to see you again in the Fitbit community. Have you attempted to perform a restart once again? If your issue was resolved, please share your troubleshooting steps with the community. Smiley Happy
