To stop it Push the lower right button. Then the top to totally end it and go back a screen

I read the manual carefully. I tried to stop on the the lower right button. But no response whatsoever. I tried the upper right as well. The only way to end the exercise is to let it go on until the battery is out. If I then start the Surge I can use it as a clock and a recorder of data of steps, heartrate and so on but nothing else.

Hello sweetie @ingelapling! Thanks for popping by the forums! I think that @WendyB's suggestion is a really good option to try, but if you already did so and it is not working; must likely your Fitbit Surge is stuck. Why don't you restart your Surge a couple of times and try those steps after that.
Finally, as a last resort contact Customer Support, so they can further investigate.
