@SunsetRunner Fitbit can now accomodate multiple trackers, so you can set up both your new Surge and Flex on the same account. You can also seamlessly switch between the two, whichever one you are wearing will update your account when you sync. Then if you switch units it will bring in the old data plus whatever new steps you racked up. Here is the help article for setting up multiple trackers.
