My steps for one week are 87 355 and the following week 80 161 and my weekly stats report says I have 10 281 fewer steps. Clearly the arithmetic does not add up! Does any one have an explanation.
Thanks

Hi @ojimz! We are very pleased that you have joined our Family here in the Forums!
This is very odd! When you're talking about weekly stats. Are you referring to your Weekly report? This usually is sent to you via email. Now, about the other two weeks you mentioned; where are you checking this information? Is it in your Fitbit app or in the Fitbit.com Dashboard. I'd like to check that information so I can have an idea of what you're getting! If you can include screenshots it'd be great!
I'll be around!

G'day
These are pdf snapshots of the last three weeks which show the change is always 10 281 steps, either up or down, regardless of the actual distance.
I hope this will help to provide an explanation

Did not get an answer and this week it is the same number so would suggest that it is a basic arithmetic problem that no one has learnt to program!!! I remember it in Maths 101.

Thanks a lot @ojimz! I can't see the information since I didn't get the images! Would you mind attaching the images again? I'd like to see what's the stats you're receiving to understand the math issue.
I'll be waiting!

Thanks for sharing this information @ojimz! Too bad that the pictures didn't upload correctly. But I've checked mine and I noticed the same information. Can you please confirm when was the last time that you received a Weekly report with the correct information? I'd like to confirm that information with you to pass along the feedback!
I'll be waiting!

I'm having the same issue with mine, and was going to ask the same question. It always shows me down 10,281 steps from the week before (even if I am up). Very bothersome!!

I have checked through my weekly progress reports and found that the '10281 error' first occurred in the report for 11 July 2017.
I have tried to attach a .jpg file of this report, but the system has rejected it. So my figures for this week were 23038 steps, 10281 steps more than the previous week.
This error has resulted in the absurdity of my report for Aug 28 to Sep 3 showing 8890 total steps being 10281 steps more than last week.
Negative 1391 steps Fitbit ?? It is time to go back to doing my own statistics !

It seems FitBit hasn't responded to you since early Aug. odd, you would think they would at least tell you they are working on the problem.
I too have had the 10,281 glitch since my July 3-9/17 weekly Stat report, and I walk less than 10,000 steps per week due to my disability. Odd that. The more than/less than seems to be correct.
