@Average-Bull If moisture got in once then it will always get in. If the warranty is still good then contact Customer Service. One final note. The Surge has been discontinued and replaced by the Ionic.

You won't find any Fitbit literature that states that any longer (that I can easily find). I went through 3 Surges (Fibit kindly replaced 2). I did not shower, swim, etc with the Surge. They would fog internally from just working out. Eventually bpm sensor would fail, or would stop charging, turning on. Drying it out worked for awhile.
I'm regretting getting the Ionic. Though it's living up to the waterproof claim, there are new frustrating issues. Even with latest updates, syncing is like pulling teeth.
