unable to get Surge to sync

The fitbit app during manual sync is showing that the tracker was not found. I have reset Bluetooth and the all day syncing mode to no avail. The last sync was completed on March 4,  I have also uninstalled the app on the android phone, but that did not change the outcome. According to some of the other posts in the community, I also made sure that the phone had no outstanding updates. The last updates for fitbit were completed on 3/6/2017 with the phone updates. Need some other guidance please.

Thanks for joining us @wstayton! That's a really workaround, you did a great job researching. I'd check the syncing requirements first, just to double check that your phone has all it needs to sync. And you can follow this steps to delete and reconnect your Surge with your phone. It should do the trick. Smiley Wink

Good morning Yojana, this worked. It took a restart after your suggestions, but the tracker did sync. Thank you for your recommendations. Ready to go for a hike...

My surge quit syncing July 26. How do I get it back up and syncing?

Thanks

Best Answer

Gordon, have you tried shutting your Surge off? Follow the manufacturer's directions on shutting your Surge off. After about 30 seconds, bring it back up. Let me know if that works.

Welcome to the Forums my friend @Gordonv! You can tried the restart on your Surge a couple of times as @wstayton suggested or you can try the steps in this master post to help your Surge to connect back. Please confirm that you're using a compatible device checking the list on the website.

I'm sure this will be helpful and hopefully you'll be back on track after you tried those steps! In case that it doesn't work please let me know, so we can check together what else we can do! Smiley Very Happy
