The secret decoder for your workouts

Cardio load provides insights into your fitness journey, helping you understand your progress and plan your workouts accordingly. Think of it as a gauge of the overall stress you're putting on your cardiovascular system throughout the day. It factors in both the duration and intensity of your activities, from a leisurely stroll to a heart-pumping spin class. The higher you get your heart rate and the longer you sustain it, the more cardio load you will accumulate.

Cardio load can also help you identify potential periods of overtraining. This way, you can determine whether you're consistently challenging yourself, overworking yourself, or if you’re ready to dial things up a notch to achieve your fitness goals while preventing excessive strain on your body.

Your target load is a suggested cardio load range that you can use to guide your training. Aim to get enough cardio load so that it lands in the target load range each day. It takes into account your fitness level, recent activity, and how recovered your body is, as well as whether you are looking to maintain or improve your cardio fitness level. Think of it as a "sweet spot" for exercise.

Remember that cardio load is personalized to you, based on your heart rate during physical activity. This helps ensure your daily target load is challenging enough while still being achievable.

Take note that, like all heart rate tracking technologies, accuracy can be affected by physiology, device placement, and your movements and activity.
