Not exactly an automatic synch, but at least in the Bike activity if you click the button with the three dots, there is an option to download the tcx file. You can then go to connect.garmin.com and upload said TCX file.

It hasn't worked for months and has been discussed elsewhere:

Updated 8/22/2015 : It seems like it came back online a few week ago and has stayed up 🙂

Fitdatasync is a bit ... worthless.  I cannot email them because it always errors out and says try later.  It also will not sync steps unless it came from a run using GPS.  Anyone have any other methods?

I don't see a channel for Garmin Connect in IFTTT. Am I missing it?

I didn't see an app that was named Fit Data Sync with the link provided.

A bit of a bind but you can bulk export activities et al from Fitbit manually and then import into Garmin, this way you get steps and other stuff. I do it at about a week at a time, Fitbit allows up to a month of data in a single export. Any single piece of data that contains GPS can be imported as a TCX. If you synch both Fitbit and Garmin to Strava, record a bike ride using your Surge it will auto push the data to Strava and Garmin, or it used to work, I use an Edge for my bike rides now. When I run I use a TICKRX which exports automatically to Strava, in a similar way I pull the TCX from Strava and manually insert into Garmin.

Garmin closed all the doors a while back so it is very hard to push 3rd party data to it automatically. Almost like they want you to buy their stuff Smiley Happy

Hello everyone, it's nice to see @issata welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community @pesticidal. Indeed FitDatasync is not longer an option since is not supported. For more details please review the following post.

See you around and let me know if you have additional questions.

Try out https://tapiriik.com/

Its basically a program that will automatically sync your gpx files between programs. From that program you can control the directions that syncs occur as well. So if something shows up on Strava via Fitbit, it will sync to other applications. Likewise, something that Garmin records can be made to sync to strava and then to Fitbit

That app has gotten pretty buggy, and has not been updated for over a year. I'm not likely to try it, especially if it's a multi-step process.
