Is there any way to connect my Fitbit Flex to the Google Fit app that just came out yesterday? I just downloaded Google Fit yesterday just so I can try it out and it said that it would connect with 3rd party apps but cannot find a way to connect the Fitbit to it.
Any help anyone can give me on this would be greatly appreciated.
Cindy

I would like to feature to be implemented. I've requested the same of GoogleFit. Please implement 3rd party support so that GoogleFit can draw from the data of FitBit tracker

Any news on a Google Fit integration? Since the new heart rate tracking integration and sleep tracking in Google Fit version 1.55.44, it's getting more and more interesting.

to be honest I think the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) should get involved with all these companies not having a standard data exchange format. this is very bad for buyers/consumers, and these behaviors are so monopolistic they should be smashed and fined whether it is Fitbit, Apple, Goole, Nike, etc.
luckily I got my device for free because my mother no longer wanted to use it, but I cannot believe people actually pay for service like this where the companies actually make it difficult on purpose to manage my own information.
Ridiculous.

While I would like to see truly open platforms and the ability to exchange data freely, the fitness and health monitoring market is hardly a monopoly.

The fitbit API interfaces with user data stored with their fitbit account and not the device itself. You'll still need the fitbit app to sync to your account but Google Fit could then pull that information into their UI.
Go to https://fit.google.com/. Left menu under "Help". Click "Feedback". Let them know what that you want this feature.

This site worked for me: www.fitnesssyncer.com
It's a little buggy and some things took a few tries, but eventually I was able to get autosync going from Fitbit to Google Fit. Basically you set up a separate Activity Source for each thing you want to sync, in my case activity (steps) and sleep, and the site copies your data from Fitbit. You then set up a Destination Task for each as well, which causes the site to push that data to Google Fit.
Only slight drawback is the free version limits you to five tasks. I only need four -- two for pulling steps and sleep from Fitbit, two for pushing same to Fit -- but if you were also tracking weight or heart rate, you'd run out of tasks unless you were willing to pay for the Pro version.

What stack of apps do you have to get it all in one place?

At the very least you need something like myfitnesspal. I just got my fitbit, and I want to try to use their app for everything, but at the very least their calorie counter is lacking compared to myfitnesspal. I still need to compare mapmyfitness to the fitbit run tracking, but I'm less concerned about that than the calorie counter.

Adding my voice to the chorus requesting this. I've been an enthusiastic fitbit user for years, but being able to sync everything through Google Fit and through that to StrongLifts would be enough to make me jump ship.

I to would love to be able to sync my FitBit data with Google Fit.
Come on guys, please open your minds and make our devices synic with other tools.

I can't believe we're still waiting for this! This has been constantly requested since 2014. Fitbit are very quiet on the subject. What is going on??
